Commentary on Megatokyo #880 - Inflation
Okay, this deserved to be blogged. Essentially, this is an interesting turn of events and I can honestly say that Megatokyo is going to be a more interesting read because of these 2 new developments. I am not going to lie, I love fanservice and I am glad that this happened. This could also affect the plot a bit more.
Now, this could inhibit the growing relationship between Piro and Kimiko. This also could drive a wedge between Largo and Erica. Hell, it could even make Ed’s job a bit more of a pain. Or maybe, it might send Tsubasa on a one-way ticket back to Japan ^_^. But whatever happens, I’ll be intently watching.
What’s more interesting is the community reaction just hours after the comic went live. I already saw two signatures that are very provacative.
If Fred tries to go back to the original version of Ping, it’s going to cause problems. Just like if Largo healed instantly from getting run over by that bus. His cast stayed for numerous panels and I do not think that this is one of those things that people can heal from.
