15forums just revived

Sunday, May 20th, 2007

So, I just relaunched 15forums and I am making it a general area where you can discuss all the 15art and KyleKorleski.com websites. I spent all day setting it up and fighting the first flamers. So, it’s all ready for you. And I really hope you enjoy it! Yeah, a short post today, I know. Sorry about that. ^_^ But if you comment on this post with your user name, I will activate your account as soon as I get your comment.

So, the truth comes out about Becca!

Friday, May 18th, 2007

I learned the truth about Becca and why she broke up with me. Or rather, I found out that the reason she told me for breaking up with me was a complete and utter lie. It’s actually quite horrid and wrong and I can’t believe that it happened. But today, when I was talking to her over Instant Messenger, I found out that Becca was just lying to me and I am just dumbfounded. And I can’t believe that I thought I loved this girl. I can’t believe I thought about marrying this girl! I can’t believe that I was so willing to wait for her and yet, day after day, she lied to me. (more…)

Famfamfam Redux

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Okay, before I say anything, let me tell you that I do like the design of the Famfamfam Silk icons and I will be using them (as sparingly as possible) in my design. Now that I’ve said that, I can rant without any fear of being labelled a hypocrite later. But I have dabbled in using something else (despite being unable to find any other icon sets that are of as high quality as Famfamfam - for free). (more…)

Had to break it off with Natalie

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Unfortunately, yesterday, I had to break it off with Natalie. I am very worried for her, as she is having very depressing thoughts. Even though I don’t love her anymore, she is still my friend and I truly care about her welfare and well-being. But it was necessary to break it off with her, considering that I didn’t love her anymore. But I am happy that I got the chance to see what a relationship with her would be like. And now, I can continue my life, including my upcoming move to Portland and my future moves, including my immigration to Canada. I am not going to go into great detail in this post, because I want to respect her privacy.

Missing my luggage

Monday, May 14th, 2007

I remember when I was travelling on Greyhound, I had four pieces of luggage and my hat. These were a brown rolling suitcase, a smaller rolling laptop bag, a laptop bag by booq and a backpack. These are the things I left Canada with. When I was in Lethbridge, the strap to my laptop bag broke off and I had to carry it, by hand. This was a pain because I also cut my hand open pretty badly in Lethbridge, Alberta. Which is something that I am going to write about in a later post. But anyways, on with my luggage. (more…)

I hate country music

Friday, May 11th, 2007

I hate country music and I have since I was very little. I was born in California and I was uprooted from California and forced to move to Texas, so I had to put up with Country music when travelling around. Unfortunately, my sister was afflicted by this and she now refers to herself as a Texan. I feel so sorry for her, because she was born in California, just like me. She let Texas and all of it’s terrible factions and evils, such as country music, afflict her. And she is not a free thinker, unfortunately. In fact, because of Texas, country music and everything in southern US culture, she is strongly thinking about going into the United States Armed Forces. (more…)

I don’t HAVE to post every day

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

You know, as a blogger, I have been trying (and until recently, succeeding) at posting at least 1 post a day. Then, real life got into the way and I needed to do more important things. Things like having a girlfriend, doing business, expanding my current business and life in general. But I have to enjoy life more and through this, I will be able to enjoy life every day. So I promise to post at least once a week and I want to be able to write quality, semantic posts each and every time. Plus, it gives me more time to work on other things like Blackthorne and 15art. And of course, I need to do more work to save up to get out of my current place. (more…)

Natalie and Kyle sitting in a tree.

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

Natalie and I are now going out publicly - which just means her parents know that we are going out and they have given the approval. Of course, my parents already know, simply due to the fact that they read my blog and my mother mentioned it when she was over here yesterday. Every day that I get to spend time with Natalie just makes me realize more and more how perfect we are for one another. (more…)

A picture a day, means the iSight should stay

Monday, May 7th, 2007

I have been wanting to do this for a long time and now, I am going to do this. I am going to try to make a honest effort to take at least one picture of myself and upload it to Flickr every day. For those of you uninitiated with my computer setup, I own a MacBook Pro so this should be really easy. So I am going to use an iSight camera (which is equipped just above the monitor), Apple’s fun little Photo Booth application, Tristan O’Tierney’s FlickrBooth, and a Pro Flickr Account. So this is what I am using for my equipment, so now - I have very little excuse to do this. So, let’s let the fun begin and I’ll explain how I plan to go about this. (more…)

Time for a Refresh of Faith

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

James Mathias has given me the slap I need in the comments of a couple of my posts. He pointed out that I have not been so good in fulfilling the Eight-fold path, the Five moral precepts and a few of the other tenets of Buddhism. Even though I have investigated religion thoroughly and I found that Buddhism is more realistic, logical and it is the best for me - I still haven’t followed the rules of Buddhism to the letter. I have said some very unkind things about Christianity and I have done a few things that are completely against the spirit of Buddhism. So for the time being, I am going to seriously think things through and try to make sure I didn’t just rush foolishly into Buddhism. And even though this is a faith that I truly want to be in, I must reinforce certain parts of my character. Therefore, I have a plan to try to do the right thing and still be prepared to be a better Buddhist in the long run. (more…)
