Macrabbit released CSSEdit 2.5 and it’s very smexy!

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

Macrabbit just recently released CSSEdit 2.5 to the general public. Now, CSSEdit is one of my favourite power toys (tomorrow, I’ll discuss power toys for the Mac) for the Mac and it gives me the power to do so much with my current style sheets. It has a beautiful way to validate style sheets with W3C standards. And of course, it still has the smexy features it always had such as Milestones, Live Preview and Xray. And this has not been replicated in applications like Panic’s Coda (which costs a US$69 if you own a Transmit licence). Also, Macrabbit added a beautiful new welcome page for CSSEdit 2.5 (compared to the one that Macrabbit made for CSSEdit 2.0).

I’ve chosen to publicly release my stats

Friday, March 30th, 2007

For anyone that is actually interested in how well this site does, I have decided to publicly release the statistical data for my personal weblog. Sometimes, I will blog according to the stats and make general comments regarding my research in that topic, so if you want to know why exactly I am posting about a certain event or what not, you could check the stats and see what I was thinking when I posted that.

9rules Round 5.5

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

9rules round 5.5 - okay, you are probably looking at me like I’m weird(er) thinking (or saying) “Kyle, there is no such thing as a half-round in 9rules” And normally, I’d agree with you. But Tyme announced that she is going to re-review the submissions from round 5 based on several very important factors - one of which being hosting problems. Considering that I moved my blog after round 5 started, there was a problem. And that’s why I was rejected for round 5. (more…)

How much HAVE I made with PayPerPost by the way?

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

One has to wonder how much I have made so far with PayPerPost and I am willing to tell you. So far, I’ve only seen $5 USD from PayPerPost because almost every time I wrote something, they would nit pick about my posts. I am not too happy about that and considering some of the opportunities (like Credit Card Applications) are not exactly that ethical to promote, I would not do so. Knowing what *I* know about credit cards, I would not recommend them for anyone.) But for blogs that can put an ethical spin on Credit Cards, well that’s respectable and they deserve the income. But there are other ways to make money with PayPerPost. (more…)

Everyone’s a Critic. Why not get paid for it?

Friday, February 16th, 2007

There are things that I would love to do to generate traffic on my blog. I love to be read and to be recognized and I would do a lot to reward those that link to my posts. In fact, if you make a post on your blog, linking to my blog - or if you just add me to your blogroll, I will try to link in kind. Now, I’ve found that PayPerPost has decided to start paying about money (US$7.50) for posts about member’s blogs and I am (technically) still a member. So, I would urge you to take this opportunity to critique my blog. (more…)

What am I doing and where am I going?

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

So, I have been asked sometimes where I am going in my life or what do I want to accomplish? While a definitive list is not possible at this time, I’ve created an account at 43 things and, by default, that created an account at all of it’s subsites. So, I decided to start working on my portfolios at a couple of the sites. Like at all consuming, 43 people and 43 places. I also added my blog’s RSS feed for good measure. So whether you want my views on my travels, to know who I want to/have met or what I want to do/have done - you can now have easier access that information. (more…)

Spam Retrospect: Male Enhancement Drugs

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

As a young person, I did not compare myself to others in areas of sexuality, considering that it would be too depressing. But when I heard about Enzyte, I thought “Is this for real”? Being the young researcher that I am, I looked up the Enzyte Male Enchancement As Seen On TV at WebMD.com. In fact, if you type just the drug’s name, Enzyte, into the search box above - you would find two articles of note. I will quote one of the more positive ones, entitled Penis Enlargement Pills Do Not Work: (more…)

Custom Logo Design

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

I have made many enquiries in the past about logo design and every time I asked, it would cost around US$650-US$7,000 just for one logo. That was outrageous, especially for someone who doesn’t have as much money as others. Now, there is this guy that is offering a Free Custom Logo Design if you link to his web log. I have got to say that what he is offering is totally worth it. It is such a shame that he is using a blogger blog though, but it could be worse. He could be using something from SixApart.

Online Shopping Coupons

Friday, January 5th, 2007

When you go shopping online, you often see a box to input a coupon code, but you usually have nothing to enter? Well, there are numerous ways you can save vast amounts of money with online shopping coupons. I found a site that helps you find online shopping coupons. In fact, there are coupons for everyone at this site and even Apple Store coupon codes. It might help to have a library of coupon codes at your beck and call, especially if you are making a big ticket purchase, like a new Macintosh computer.

Another free online dating site

Friday, January 5th, 2007

Along my travels on the Internet, I found another completely free dating site. It’s called Just Say Hi and yes, I have confirmed that it is a 100% free Online Dating website. Basically, this is good news for me because I am currently hopelessly wandering the seas of single hood and I’d like to find someone to share my life with.

I do believe that online dating sites should be free. Sites like match.com and eHarmony are there just to guzzle dollars out of the pocketbooks of innocent human beings. This is not right and it is not fair to the people who truly want to find the love of their lives. (more…)
