I know I haven’t posted a Fuck off and Die Thursday in a long time but it’s about time that I did. This week’s FOAD Thursday was actually inspired by Mr. Fab and it goes after those annoying things you see in the stores (especially around x-mas time) - Chia Pets. I don’t like them but I have a legitimate reason! I owned them as a child and the fuckers never grew. Not one centimeter! You could say I am bitter, but rightly so! I mean, imagine: you are 10 years of age and you just got one of these shitty things. You try your darndest to make it grow but it just doesn’t want to. What the fuck man? (more…)

This Fuck Off and Die Thursday is about Children. You think, those assholes under the age of 18 and are under the control of ignorant adults above the age of 18. Children suck and it stands to reason. They are raised by members of the human race - and the human race sucks. I hate children. I hated children when I was a child. It comes with the territory of hating the human race. But I don’t think I have the character to raise children. Hell, I don’t have the character to babysit. This Fuck Off and Die Thursday is about Canadian Immigration. An agency that is even harder to please then the Canadian Revenue Agency. I have a Temporary Resident Visa so there is a high risk that I have to leave Canada in July. But I would really love to stay in this country and move to British Columbia, enjoying the freedoms that are enjoyed by so many Canadians. Of course, if I had a 4-year degree, it would make things a lot simpler. But there is still hope so I haven’t ordered by plane tickets to London or Dublin just yet. I know for a fact that I can do this and if I can’t, at least I would have made the most of the time that I bought. (more…)

This Thursday’s Fuck off and Die Thursday is about those women that abuse the online dating system and basically lure men into contacting them only to fool them. I usually refer to this type of woman here as an Emotional Mercenary or simply as a Mercenary but when they abuse an online dating system, I refer to them as Online Dating Whores. These women are a consummate evil to the Internet, providing false hope to the desperate. I just recently got targeted by one (as you can read by my previous posts) and I have been targeted by several throughout the course of my stay here in Calgary.

I refuse to believe that all women are like this and I truly believe that there is someone out there for me and when I find her, she will treat me with the respect and dignity I deserve as a human being. I am just starting to believe more and more that I am NOT going to be able to find her in this city/province. Why can’t I just fund a woman that is looking for a mutually loving and respectful agape relationship? I am not interested in a solely Eros relationship and while a philia relationship is nice, I don’t want that at this time of my life.

Since I haven’t posted a Fuck Off and Die Thursday post in forever, this will count to make up the time. Basically, there is this girl from my old church named Amber Alexander. I was, at one point, attracted to her. But I moved on and I am now attracted to more intelligent and better women. Women who can treat a person with the respect and dignity that they themselves want for themselves.

Now, she is brainwashing people into believing that I am immature and jealous of the abuse that she is now lumping on someone more her age. This is not true and I was just comforting a friend of mine with the comment. I will not state my friend’s name because I have a dedication to protecting the innocent. People like Amber, though, don’t deserve friends until they can learn how to respect people.

Yesterday I had to experience the fucking slowness that is dial-up. Dial-up is the worst kind of Internet connection you can have and you should only use it if your high-speed Internet connection is down and you are waiting for the people at the Cable Company to respond, if you are stealing your neighbours Internet connection and you are waiting for THEM to realise that their Internet is out and call the Cable Company or if you are waiting for the Cable Company to come and install your Internet.

Now, whose fault is it that my Internet is down? The blame has to go to Charter Communications, one of the worst Internet Service Providers in the world. If you do business with them, you might want to stop because you are getting a very inferior Internet Connection (see http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Internet_service_providers_that_do_not_like_file_sharing for a list of inferior ISPs).

If you ABSOLUTELY must use Dial-Up, follow the following golden rules:

1. Turn off images and JavaScript in your browser
2. Ditch webmail and use a POP3 e-mail client if possible
3. Forget about online gaming and torrenting. Until you get an acceptable Internet Connection - don’t torrent - it’s better that way.
4. Have a very limited amount of applications open at one time.
5. Turn off additional features of applications like AudioScrobbler or other plugins and extensions that appear on runtime.
6. Cancel your dial-up account IMMEDIATELY after you get high speed.
