You know, it’s quite funny that one of the most successful banks in the United States, and the world, has problems with serving it’s personal clients. Wait, that’s not funny at all. I think it’s pretty pathetic, personally. What am I talking about? I called Bank of America today asking them to give me access to $200 that I have in a savings account with them and they refused to help me. Some call centre associates were just terribly unhelpful. And none of them were competent nor willing to listen so they could help me with the problems that I was having. (more…)

So Shush has me doing grunt work that I am not fit to do. I don’t know how I can make this clearer - but I am just going to make this point, yet again: I AM NOT A HANDY MAN! I’d probably wind up breaking more stuff than actually fixing a damn thing. And this isn’t the worst part. The worst part is I will be separated from my loving girlfriend Becca. I already miss talking to her and I wish I was by her side, fully enjoying life. So, instead of being able to talk to her through Instant Messenger - I have to use e-mail and blog entries to let her know how much I love her. (more…)

Today, I made a few posts on the Pirate Reports forums advocating for Bittorrent and Mr. Howard Spinks took what I said and twisted it into something completely awful. Mr. Spinks does not value the freedom of speech, despite the fact that his clients, Jelsoft and phpFoX, would not be where they are now without the creativity that they gained from the freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is very important in our society and it is what had made countries like Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States so very desirable to live in. The erosion of Freedom of Speech and habeas corpus is the reason that more and more US and UK citizens are immigrating to Canada, where human rights are still being respected. (more…)

Okay, so a couple of days ago, a guy from Telus came by to hook up my telephone once again. Finally! Anyways, I tell him to watch where he steps and guess what? I stepped on a power adaptor and cut my foot open. It hurt like a mother fucker and it still hurts to walk. Therefore, I spend my time sitting around here with a band-aid on it and some Neosporin. It is as boring as hell and I have very little to do other than design Blackthorne (update on it tomorrow) and write in my blog. Plus, not only that but foolishly confide in girls I meet on online dating websites. Yeah, I know. Really sad.
I am going to write a few more posts because I have so much more to say on numerous topics and I will space them out through the next few days. Bwahaha!

If you read my post yesterday, you would know that I had a copy of Windows to return to London Drugs today. Well, guess what? They would not allow me to return it. Fuckers. It appears as if I have to beg Nicholi for a small pay advance (actually it would be a loan, seeing as I am getting the money soon, just not before it’s due) on my rent while I scramble to collect the rest of it. However, I know one thing is for certain, London Drugs has lost my business indefinitely.
I like to online shop. That’s because I hate waiting forever for a bus to come and take me to the LRT station so I can head on down to Chinook to purchase a DVD. I would much rather purchase one online but there is one factor that prohibits that. When I want something, I usually want it now and not in a few days. This is unfortunate because I am certain that Amazon.ca has a bit more credibility than London Drugs. And it is unfortunate that they have decided to violate their own guarantee, the guarantee on the packaging AND federal law.
However, I take solace in the fact that not all business are as bad with customer service as London Drugs or Subway are. MediaTemple, my current web host, gave me $40 in credits to my account for the outages in November. I am happy that at least THEY know how to act honourably.

Okay, what the hell is the purpose of Boxing Day now? I just don’t get why we need to extend the holidays well past Christmas. Christmas is already hell because I either have to spend time with family or have to spend it with no one at all. I would like to have a girlfriend or a fiancĂ©e during the holidays or someone that just gives a damn. I know that the Boxing Day is comparable to Black Friday in the United States.
I’ve never liked the holidays. Christmas is where you receive gifts that give you some kind of indication what your family members and friends think and feel about you. Like, the time that I got a basketball for Christmas from my Aunt Heather and Uncle Johnny. What the fuck? A basketball?!? I am hardly the person that should receive something like that. Also my mother gave me a paintball gun last Christmas just because I used to go paintballing with friends from church. I know that I could not import a paintball gun at the time I entered Calgary and the CO2 tank into Canada. I entered when they had that ban against cremes, foams, fluids, aerosols and other gels. I know I would have to end up purchasing another one, once I land in this country. And possibly, I would probably have to get a rifle licence from the Canada Firearms Centre.
I hate the fact that stores close early on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. I wanted to get a sandwich from Safeway and I would love to get one because I am so hungry. I don’t have the ability to get some food in this damn city. Even Co-op is closed!

Okay, so today, after getting back from my job interview with Nicholi and Jacob (I hope that’s what his name is…) and waiting on the Citadel bus to get back to Brentwood, I logged into MySpace since Adium is being a bitch. And what do you know, my grandmother has a myspace. O.O Okay, so how large IS the scope of this programme? Well, I kinda got dragged into it because I want to keep in touch with a few people - but there are a LOT of drama queens on places like MySpace and people that add everyone and anyone (affectionately referred to as “MySpace whores”). And what about MySpace makes it so attractive? I mean, it is usually under maintenance, has a couple of bugs, is full of ads and on top of it all, it is run by the uber-evil News Corporation (the same company that owns Fox and IGN and it is run by Rupert Murdoch, the Republican Party of the US and, of course, Satan.)
Do you know what I think of myspace? Fuck it. Facebook is a lot better.

Since I haven’t posted a Fuck Off and Die Thursday post in forever, this will count to make up the time. Basically, there is this girl from my old church named Amber Alexander. I was, at one point, attracted to her. But I moved on and I am now attracted to more intelligent and better women. Women who can treat a person with the respect and dignity that they themselves want for themselves.
Now, she is brainwashing people into believing that I am immature and jealous of the abuse that she is now lumping on someone more her age. This is not true and I was just comforting a friend of mine with the comment. I will not state my friend’s name because I have a dedication to protecting the innocent. People like Amber, though, don’t deserve friends until they can learn how to respect people.

Dusten may have been annoying as hell, but at least he isn’t as bad as Doug is. Just so you know, Doug is the person doing the construction work in the house and he may very well be living here once the construction is complete. Basically, he has a VERY short fuse. And unfortunately, it does not appear that Shush (my landlord) will be getting rid of him any time soon. This is a bummer because he is a real douche bag.
However, my other two roommates are really great. Huda barely says a word and keeps to himself, but what little I see of him - he is friendly. And Rob is a very nice and understanding guy. He even took my HP Pavilion laptop off my hands. How about that, talk about nice. The only problem I see is Doug and I am hoping and praying that he really does get evicted. (more…)

Talking with Mr. Pringle today got me thinking about how well the school takes freedom of speech. The college is actually very hypocritical and I know at least one person that sees this as well. My blog is a mind dump, more or less. You can write about the things that are going on in your life and it helps you feel much better. When comments come, it makes you feel that you are not alone in the struggle that is life. It is a slice of my life that not everyone sees and they get to view the world that I live in a little differently.
I don’t blog about anything, or share opinions, that I wouldn’t feel happy talking about up on a stage in front of friends and strangers. This is why I am not anonymous nor do I wish to be. My name IS Kyle Korleski (no, that is not a pen name) and I live in Calgary, Alberta for the time being (if I were to move, it’d definitely be to Halifax or Vancouver). I have a loud, outspoken attitude that some people find to be very acidic. I’d love to be stopped and told how much my blog rocks/sucks. I love writing this blog because it gives me a chance and a forum in which to vent my anger, disgust and discontentment with the world, while at the same time celebrating the wonderful things that happen in my life. It is very nice to actually get comments on this blog, and no, the viagra spam comments do not count in this. (more…)
