A “KYLE DONT LEAVE PETITION MYSPACE”

Thursday, April 20th, 2006

To be honest, I never thought some people would go THIS far to keep me in the states.

I will state right now: I do not plan to leave my intent to move to Canada. No MySpace petition or anything that frivolous could stop me. The only thing in my way of becoming a Canadian is the CIC.

I would report it to the MySpace.com team but I find this too hilarious to report. I would like to see how far this person is willing to go along with their cherade. However, they did place a picture that makes fun of Stephen Harper and as such, I must contact the office of the Prime Minister.

Sorry about that plug - here is something more.

Tonight I became aware of my own existence. I went for a long walk, to clear my mind, of music, work, kitties and cute girls. I laid on the warm grass, the green beneath God’s darkened sky, and I asked God
What is success when you are lonely?
I cried for the first time in months. As the storm clouds gathered, I wanted to close my eyes forever, to die beneath the darkened sky and end this wonderful yet terrible life that I have known.
Fireworks exploded around me, and I felt my eyes dim. My breathing laboured, and I felt myself at peace. I stopped breathing for awhile, and it didn’t matter. Only when I awoke, choking, did I realize that such an easy expiration would not be possible
I asked God for some sign, anything to explain why I could be so gifted, but have no direction, no guidance and no inspiration.
And then the rains came. I heard them in the distance, they sounded like faint fireworks slowly approaching. Cute girls scattered and fireworks in the distance fizzled into nothingness.
People scurried for shelter, but I did not move. I laid in the green grass beneath God’s darkened sky and felt the rains wash over me. My phones sputtered and died, and my hair washed into my face like cold tendrils.
But I did not move. For I hear that the rains are supposed to be cleansing, and my soul was desperately seeking cleansing, or salvation.
I laid in the rains for an hour, as they reached their crescendo, faded and returned again. People watched me from the warmth and safety of their windows, and I could hear their bemused laughter.
I now understood what Mike Oldfield meant about the “Man in the Rain”
I had become that man.

Day of unemployment

Sunday, April 2nd, 2006

Before you get started, yes I am looking for a job. This is one of THOSE times when sending a little bit of cash via PayPal helps boost morale.

Unemployment IS a problem for me. A big problem. I’ve got 2 creditors that want my blood and I have only $2 CAD to my name. If you want me to do a vBulletin design for you, I’ll do it for $100-$400 depending on how complex you want it.

P.S. The new design for the site is coming along nicely. I also added new categories to the WordPress and all that good stuff. I hope to get the latest version of my site out in about a couple of weeks.

Just a rant

Wednesday, February 15th, 2006

Okay, so Avatar Canada couldn’t help me. Well, at least now I know.

I hate those people that decide to ignore you no matter what on Instant Messenger and yet, don’t give you any indication why.

Not a lot to post. I know, a rant and a wing/prayer.

Outta ISS

Friday, December 10th, 2004

I have some good news! I just got outta ISS! The easy part is over. The hard part is surviving the weekend without internet access. I will probably help out at the christmas party the youth group is giving boys and girls country. Now I am back with the moronic Matt Strine, and the constant annoyance of having duct tape thrown at the side of my head.

Ugh, only three more days, just three more days.

Okay.. Okay..

Sorry for not posting in a long time. Anyways, this is going to be a LOOONG post.

Sunday - Okay, I uploaded the rest of my files and tried to install Fedora Core 3. It appeared to install correctly but it didn’t boot. Tried this three times, didn’t work. I went to SNL and asked my friend Kenneth to burn me a copy of Mandrake. He said he would have it by Wednesday.

Monday - All in all, an uneventful day. I setup my checking account this day, but that’s pretty much it.

Tuesday - Asked Kenneth about the CD. He said that he would have it soon. Yeah, riiight. Anyways, again, another boring day. Duckworth gave us an assignment to make a company powerpoint (Which I should be doing right now). I went to work and got chewed out by Mike.

Wednesday - Kenneth didn’t have the CD. Okay, that was a given. Anyways, there was a senior assembly today. We took panoramic pictures and all that. Plus, another bad work day. Two customers complained about me. If they have something to say, say it to my face.

Haven’t Blogged in a While

Wednesday, August 11th, 2004

Okay - Saturday - I was drug down to Galveston and I was forced to spend the night and eat supper there. My family and I stayed in my Aunt’s friend’s beach house along my aunt’s friend and some of their friends.

We went to dinner at this nasty place down on Avenue N 1/2 (yes, there is an avenue n and a half) called shrimp and stuff. Let me tell you, never eat there. The food took a LONG time to get to us, the service was terrible and the staffers were rude. Plus the fries and fish were subpar and old.

I woke up on Sunday and went back to houston with my dad. Sadly, I didn’t make it in time to go to church :-( and I went to work.

Monday, that was horrible. I was forced into going back to Galveston (like I already got enough) with the church youth group and go to the beach. We went to this government-owned free beach. We ate a sandwich lunch and then went swimming. I probably saw about 50 jellyfish around me so I didn’t swim much. I decided to bury three of the girls in the
sand and then sit on the beach.

When I got up i got an unpleasant surprise - I WAS BURN’D! I got apretty bad sunburn, and it is still burning as I type. Anyways, when we left we stopped at this horrid Taco Cabana near the Seawall. The queso was runny and watered down. Plus, I found out you had to buy chips seperate. That was so annoying. Also the service was slow and the place was so unclean.
