Natalie and Kyle sitting in a tree.

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

Natalie and I are now going out publicly - which just means her parents know that we are going out and they have given the approval. Of course, my parents already know, simply due to the fact that they read my blog and my mother mentioned it when she was over here yesterday. Every day that I get to spend time with Natalie just makes me realize more and more how perfect we are for one another. (more…)

Dharma, give me strength

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

My friend that I mentioned that in order to see her, I need to go to church with her this Sunday. The reason is because her parents are (reportedly) assholes that believe that people who are not Christians are worshippers of Satan. I don’t understand why they would even think this is possible, considering that belief in Satan would require a belief in God. But, I’ve painted myself into a corner and I have to go to church to see her. It’s truly unfair, considering that I do not want to believe in such a repulsive religion. Especially, where they love to delude themselves that prayer would help. I can’t believe that I have support such an awful and repulsive religion. And a lot of it goes against the basic tenets of Buddhism.

Back from my hiatus

Saturday, April 28th, 2007

I’m sorry that I had to go into a hiatus. I needed to take a little break so I could be 100% sure to avoid saying something bad and untrue about Becca. Truth be told, she’s a wonderful woman and any man would be happy to have her. But, the distance between us was just too great and she couldn’t take it anymore. I can understand and respect her for that, but that doesn’t mean I’m too happy about this. But I am going to try to avoid online dating and even if that is so, I am only going to date people in my locality. This way, I can avoid a lot of heartbreak. (more…)

On Hiatus for a while

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

I’m not going to sugarcoat the truth or lie about things. The people who read my blog day in and day out know that I am not one to lie or falsify reality. But recently, Becca had made the decision to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. I wish her well in all that she does and I’m just happy that she treated me with the respect and dignity I deserve. She didn’t lie to me or deceive me like Miranda did. Or like Chelsea did. But I am not happy about the situation at all. In fact, I am quite unhappy because I had high hopes for this relationship. (more…)

Craving Doughnuts!

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

You know, for the past few days, I’ve been craving a dozen of my favourite doughnuts from my favourite doughnut place: Shipleys. They were my favourite considering the fact that every other doughnut shop does a piss poor job at making vanilla cream filled doughnuts. The problem? While I was in Canada, they must have either moved or closed down because their storefront is closed. So that just means the closest eatery to me is closed. I know where the nearest Shipley’s is but I know that it really isn’t within walking distance. (more…)

Why I am so lucky to have Becca

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

To be with Becca is a very important thing to me. To be able to hold her in my arms and tell her how much I love her. And soon, I’ll be able to do so since I will be moving to the United Kingdom. And I plan to spend as much time as I can with her. But some people wonder why I love her when I haven’t actually met her face to face and how I can have such faith in being with her. Well, I have a couple of reasons. (more…)

My ETA to enter London has been locked in!

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

Well, due to recent circumstances (mostly housing), I have decided to leave the United States within 1 month. So - I have to raise $3,500 to procure airfare, housing and a 1 month visa in the United Kingdom. I am going to get the 1 month visa when I enter, work for my registered company in the United States (technically, I would not be working for a company in the United Kingdom), receive royalties from said company and do all that I can to raise enough money so I can re-enter the United Kingdom when I leave and fly back in. Is this legal? Yes. And it’s my best course of action to be with Becca and gain time toward my British naturalization.

Business Opportunities - Sweetgrass, Montana

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

When I got through the Canada-US border at Sweetgrass, Montana - I found that there was a very limited amount of businesses around the border. There was a duty free shop/gas station, a biker bar (I know this through the sign on the front of the bar that said “Welcome Bikers” and the references to places that are synonymous with biking such as Sturgis) that also served as a hotel and a café (the café was currently awaiting a new renter), a rest stop for travellers and another gas station next to the bar (which also served as a cafe). You would think, being near the Canada United States border, there’d be a bit more business given the traffic from the point of entry. This is bad news because none of the places here in Sweetgrass, have Internet access. This is a big problem because I could not post to my blog nor contact my girlfriend. (more…)

Have you taken a ride on Amtrak?

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

A lot more people ride Amtrak than you normally think. I would never have guessed it’d be as many as there actually were on the train. But I’ve found the ride to be pretty sweet except for the lack of Internet access. And, compared to riding on Greyhound - it was actually quite pleasurable. And I’ll explain why in the following points. (more…)

Hitchhiking to the US - Day 1 Report

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

(You can find a video report of Day 1 at Revver and at Spymac) So, I had to evacuate Canada because my asshole landlord Shush threatened to have me deported. So I rushed to try to gather what personal effects I absolutely needed. This included toothbrushes, toothpaste, my laptop, a couple of books that I’d really like to have and a few articles of clothing. Even then, I had a hard time managing getting out off the house without breaking a piece off of my luggage. Fortunately, I could get someone to get me to Highway 2 from Falton Drive. (more…)
