You know, sometimes I wonder, why is it that these idiots get to upper management? They expect me, a computer geek, to load all of the crap from the truck into the back room, stock it, stock the cigs and all that shit - and they are only paying me $7 a hour (well, actually, $7.25)? It’s kinda weird, I know.
What does that have to do with anything? I really couldn’t tell you, but I know it has some kind of relevance to something I have written or will write in the future. I just need to find out what. Oh, and I got a good view of Tara. I like riding in her car back home. Not just because it is hot as hell and it makes a 15 minute walk seem like an eternity. Naw, it’s because when Tara gets off of work, she usually has a shirt that really sports her stuff. Plus, she has these tight pants that make her butt look good.
Oh, and I am going mobile either today or tommorrow. Deal with it. Fear it.
You know the type, the kind that sell things that are broken. I went over to someone’s house today and tried to install a game on their computer, turns out that the game CD didn’t have the program.
I talked with my creditor and T-Mobile, appearantly I can keep the leg-breakers away from me and get cellular Internet on my laptop on this cheque. Yay!
I plan to get my own server with the Planet in 1 month. Hopefully, I can.
Also, I found that anime blog I was lookin for! If you wanna see it too, go to http://www.yayapapayaz.com/hontouni/
That’s about it. Thank you all for hearing me out, and remember, don’t buy a Dell.
Okay, first off, StopTheMusic 0.1 for Firefox is coming out in about 2 months. Deal with it.
Second, it will not only support the immediate stopping of music from autoplaying. It will also stop:
and it will overlay Flash with a screen that says “Click to Play”. Of course, this is all very optional and can be made to be omitted for certain sites where you would expect it like, oh, Homestar Runner.com.
Please note! Even though this extension is free, please donate. My plans to move to Canada can be assisted by users like you. Thank you.
Well, I’ve started development on GalleryPress, the perfect Gallery to complement WordPress. Actually, to be truthful, it won’t work with ONLY WordPress. I plan to make a version for b2evolution as well.
Also, I am back on the road to getting my own server again. However, due to the fact that this is a lifetime ASO account… I will keep my personal site here. Hell, Tim already has my $150, why not? Continue reading ‘A generic rant.’
There are two important facts I stumbled upon recently that I feel you should be made aware of. First is that starting January 29th, the Chinese New Year kicks into full gear. 2005 was the year of the Rooster and 2006 is the year of… drum roll please… the Dog! w00f!. And it’s actually the year 4703 in China, not 2006, so apparently they had a head start. The second fact I stumbled upon is that it’s Superbowl Sunday next weekend. I have created a list of three things you should do instead of watching the Superbowl,
1) Watch bittorrented episodes of Bleach
2) Host a LAN Party
3) Buy a TV-B-Gone from ThinkGeek and visit your local Sports Bar… *click*
You know, it is sad sometimes when some people cannot accept loss, instead they blame those the least responsible. It is even worse when they continue to stick to their lies, even when they are found out. They continue to weave a tapestry of lies that leads them to believe they are hearing things and to threaten innocents. It is truly a sad state of affairs when this happens.
Why can’t those people just rise up, accept that they were wrong in their accusations and move on in life? I have been wrongfully accused of things myself, numerous times. It always hurts me deeply, but if I let it affect my life, then would I really be a better person? Sometimes, you just have to remember that some people can’t accept the fact that they are wrong. And instead of admitting they are wrong, they lash out at innocents, accusing them of stealing things they probably lost, accusing them of actions that they cannot or will not pin on anyone else or even going as low as tricking themselves into believing that you are making loud noises when in fact, it was curteously silent.
In my house, I have always had to assume the role of peace keeper. This made me a target for many of the fights, usually involved in a great deal of them. When something went missing or if something was broken, whom would be blamed? The peacekeeper. The reason why is because I would try to show them that all humans are flawed and we all make mistakes. The only way to ever mature is to rise above such mistakes. My mother or father would usually start a fight, the other spouse would add a little more fuel to the fire and my sister would add a little more fuel to the fire as well.
However, I never let their lies affect me. I will never allow them to gain the victory over me. I am a highly intelligent person and I will not be bullied by my mother and father. But… what’s the use? They are never going to understand that their arguments and their accusations harm others. The little arguments they start completely depress and destroy people. It is truly sad how my parents were never loving nor nurturing.
My Dell Inspiron 1100 finally got what it deserved, the trip to the dumpster behind Valero. But truthfully, it was for the best. I have my cool new HP Pavilion zd8000 and my old crusty Dell isn’t good for anyone else. But to tell you the truth, I am kinda sad that I had to send it off in that way.
I’ve got my pay stub and I see that I am so much closer to getting all my bills paid off and getting my sister her fucking iPod and myself a brand new server from the Planet. I will, however, keep this ASO account open for good measure. Also, while we are talking about bills and the like, my normal net connection is down. Right now, I am bumming of the neighbours Internet. Unlucky. Continue reading ‘I put my Dell in it’s place’
There are two kinds of notebook geeks: the anal-retentive guy who keeps the plastic screen protector on his notebook at all times, and The Abuser. You know the type: The Abuser throws his unprotected notebook computer into a messenger bag and rides 10 miles over a dirt trail to work. Within a month, the lid looks like it tangled with a Brillo pad and the hinges are creaking.
My Dell Inspiron, though well justified due to it’s upcoming 2nd birthday, is not all together. The DVD drive won’t open (because I sat on the laptop), the lining around the monitor is cracked (I dunno know that happened), both the Intel Inside sticker and the Microsoft Windows XP sticker are gone (the Intel came off on it’s own, I “helped” the Microsoft one come off), the Microsoft Licence Number is peeling off on every side, and, at times, it is hard to press the ~ key because I once ate Ramen over the keyboard.
Yay! I got my new laptop! It’s a HP Pavilion zd8000, and it has a 60GB hard drive, ATI Radeon Graphics card, Intel P4 Processor with Hyper-Threading (sadly, HP didn’t have an AMD equiv), 17″ widescreen monitor and it’s fast enough to run all my applications and games (even Photoshop and Postal!)
I am back on the net, because I now have a new router. Soon, I should hopefullymove to Alberta.
