Customer Service Insult: No I do not need to learn Hiragana!
Saturday, August 5th, 2006I was talking about a problem that I am having with my HP laptop. You see, I can’t seem to type in Hiragana anymore and that is a truly annoying problem. It’s annoying because I have an anime site launching in a few days and I need the power to type in Japanese. ã?°ã?‹ï¼? (That means idiot! in Japanese). She suggested many things that were just not an option (including relearning Hiragana). The moment of climax was when I mentioned that my Macintosh computer could do this about a million times better, the support session ended. Guess HP just can’t deal with it’s own problems.
If you saw tiny boxes above instead of actual Japanese characters, you will need to install Asian Text Support. For this you will need your Windows CD. Usually, Linux and Macintosh computers do not have this problem because the people who developed these platforms weren’t developed by dick heads.
