Dial-Up - IT SUCKS
Wednesday, August 16th, 2006It’s Kyle Korleski and I am temporarily on one of the shittiest types of Internet Connections - a dial-up Internet connection. As you can likely tell, I am not that big of a fan of Dial-UP internet but since my neighbours haven’t fixed their fucking Internet Service yet (down for 14 hours - unacceptable!) so I have to post this from a dial-up Internet Connection. This is a temporary connection and I do plan on closing the account once I get my high speed back. However things load so much slower on dial-up. It’s taking forever to upload my batch of photos to Flickr (via the Flickr Uploadr) and I’ve had to turn off images and javascript while browsing the web. Connections still time out so I am a bit hesitant to go online to alert my fellow guild members that I am not going to be online for a little while.
