TheKyle.ca will be down on Thursday

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

All of thekyle.ca will be undergoing maintenence on Thursday (that’s when I will be applying the new templates, updating PHP files and creating galleries). Remember that this will take care of everything except for the blog, we are working on something special for the blog. Sorry K2, but I just can’t deal with you anymore.

Something I found on MySpace

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

A friend of mine posted the in his MySpace bulletins (it was titled 17 signs of really having feelings for someone). I corrected it and removed the annoying things in it.

17. You look at their profile/picture constantly.
16. When you are on the phone with them late at night and they hang up, you still miss them even when it was just two minutes ago.
15. You read their texts or instant messages over and over again.
14. You walk really slow when you are with them.
13. You feel shy whenever you/they are around.
11. When you think about them, your heart beats faster and slower at the same time.
10. You smile whe you hear their voice.
9. When you look at them, you can’t see the other people around you, all you see is him//her.
8. You start listening to slow songs, while thiking of them.
7. They are all you think about.
6. You get high jut from their scent.
5. You realise that you are always smiling to yourself when you think about them.
4. You would do anything for them, or anything to see them.
3. While reading this, there was one person on your mind the whole time.
2. You were so busy thinking about that person, you didnt notice number twelve.
1. You just scrolled up to check & are now silentely laughing at yourself.

A lot of those I can familiarise with when referring to Miranda but there is so much more that I feel when I am around her and I hope, later on, that she feels the same way. Thanks Kendall, I owe you one!

A little insight thanks to Fred Gallagher

You know, yesterday’s megatokyo strip really put things into perspective. Why do I say that? Well, basically, sometimes I act as both Boss-san and Largo would. I act like Largo in that I set up all these traps and everything and when something comes up, I have to abandon it. People seem to enjoy my little traps and games but in the end, I don’t have the time nor the resources to continue them for as long as I’d like.

Thanks Fred for this unique perspective on life!

9rules Search brings them closer to their ideal

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

As a 9rules wannabe, I’ve been keeping up with the blog, notes and all that stuff and looking at 9rules today, I found an interesting feature today called 9rules search.

Announced on the 9rules blog, the 9rules search feature is a realisation that this isn’t just an elitist community of a select few blogs but it is a community bringing together the very best of the independent web.

A Solution for the Team Rocket Banner Exchange 404s

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

For those of you who liked the TRBE, I am working (along with my fellow Rexannians) on a new community project that you will love. I have noticed that some people still use the code for that old programme so I figured why not jazz it up?

Can’t be two places at once

you dont live in canada i saw you a couple of weeks ago walking down kuykendahl…and elliott saw you too he wanted to get your butt but yah

Uh, tell that to the CBSA and CIC. Oh and you might want to tell that to Alberta Bible College. And while you are at it, why not tell Miranda, or my roommate? How about telling my landlord that? What of telling the guy down at Safeway that? Or the people who ride a Calgary transit bus? Or the minister over at Bow Valley Church of Christ. I am certain they’d love to hear it. Oh and how about CIBC and Telus. Or my next door neighbours. And what of my mother, who saw me off to the airport? How about telling that to the Air Canada staff?

You have 2 people that saw a glimpse of what you claim is me where I have like several people who have seen me face to face. Anyone who reads this and sees Kendra, tell her about this post and that hopefully, she will see that there are more than 2 people that agree with me, that I do live in Canada. But yeah.
