I am working on a community of all my sites and I am working on the THL community and I wonder - should I review my community management practices? I mean, I want to make sure that the community respects the admins but I also want to make sure that the admins EARN respect through their actions and practices. Shaun Inman, the maker of the smexy Mint statistics programme that I am so very fond of has introduced a cool little app that I have found to be quite useful. He has introduced a new web-based programme called Pagethrough and what it does is it allows you to flip through all your readme files with much ease. The install process is quite simple and like everything that Mr. Inman has made, it is simply beautiful. This is very useful with copious amounts of FAQs and does not require a MySQL database. Why be US-Centric?
I tried to register for outside.in but guess what? They don’t support Canada nor Canadian towns yet! Fucking faggots. But it got me to thinking, why is it that there are so many US-Centric companies out there? No, this isn’t about currency conversion rates. This is about how both of these were executed. In my opinion, the Canadian Government did a better job introducing the Loonie into Canadian pockets than the US Government did with introducing their Sacagawea dollar coins. Basically, a better name was thought up and used by the populace as a slang term for the dollar coin. The Loonie is a easier term to spell than the Sacagawea dollar coin and I know for a fact that I had to look that up on Google to get the correct spelling. Continue reading ‘The US v. An admission of guilt
I admit that I have done a few things I have regretted in my past. There are things that I have done to try to get my site ahead before I decided to take a more ethical approach. I admit that I had previously stolen content from a website that is now defunct. A website that went under the name Land of Broken Dreams. For the uninitiated, this was one of North Carolina’s first websites built in 1994 by Kent Annas. However, the site became unavailable in 2004, if my memory serves me correctly. And I thought it would be okay to steal the content from that site. Months later, an administrator at Land of Broken Dreams - Nina - called me on my actions. I immediately took down the infringing content and not a piece of Kent Annas’ intellectual property was ever seen again, until yesterday. Continue reading ‘An admission of guilt’

I hate Calgary.
Yes, I hate Calgary, Alberta. Every girl I met here is evil. I’ve been stood up, abused, misused and I plan to get out of this city as soon as I get my PR card. And yes, I will try Edmonton first before considering moving to another province. Of course, I’ve heard good things about British Columbia and I am going to try to find someone there. If I am unsuccessful, I will try Ontario and other provinces. However, I must try Alberta’s other big city, Edmonton, first before leaving this province. After all, I cannot truly claim that it would be a serious “quality of life” infraction if I have not tried Alberta’s other cities. At first, I thought very highly of Rob. Even when he brought that whore into the apartment. Rob was someone I highly respected and I even respected him more than Huda. I did not get to meet Chelsea for our date because she had a family emergency. This kind of made me a bit angry and confused, but I will explain the events that transpired in full detail.
