Commenting Policy
I am afraid to say that due to the recent defamatory comments made by certain parties that appear to be very immature, I am going to have to request that commentators follow certain rules. These basically are the rules of courtesy, honesty and fair treatment of others. I have a few main points which must be followed. If you intend to comment, please read through them carefully, I typed them up and read them a few times to ensure they communicated some very important concerns here.
- Accept the facts - Recently, Dusten Dixon and his family family decided to start posting comments where it said that he did not steal my banking card from the Rehn’s house during my tenancy there. This is a blatant lie, considering the fact that he did steal from me and that is the only explanation that makes any sense what so ever. Dusten is a repeat offender. He stole from other innocent people while he was living in Toronto and in Saskatchewan and it is apparent that he refuses to change. And furthermore, he lied and said that he was not interested in Miranda. If this is so, then why was he hanging around her so much? Why was he trying to date her and get burned in the same way I got burned? The answer is simple - because he thought he could serve her hatred for me and hopefully, get her to date him. His plan failed, obviously and now, he denies the facts.
- Don’t insult people - Okay, constructive criticism is allowed but blatant insults are NOT constructive criticism. Therefore, they are NOT allowed and I will remove comments that have blatant insults in them. In fact, I even had one comment that said that she was seeing other people. This is an obvious lie because I never specified Becca’s last name on this blog (Update: Just recently, I did disclose that information). Now, I am willing to assume that there are numerous girls in the United Kingdom named Becca. Therefore, how can he possibly know which one I am talking about? Anyway, flames never solve anything.
- I do respond - I will respond to all enquiries and comments and I will do so when I can. This also includes answering e-mails and FAQ questions. I find this to be very important to ensure to my readership that they know what I am doing and everything that is going on. If I don’t respond within 24 hours, give me a little time, I am probably doing something. I will make every attempt to respond to every comment, e-mail and FAQ as quickly as possible. However, I no longer post responses to enquiries made by Instant Messenger unless I know you well. I keep my Instant Messenger identities private for good reason - which I will explain soon.
- Keep it on topic - Please post comments that are on topic. Don’t go posting random comments just because you have a question. I have an ask me section on this site and I would appreciate it if you used it. I will respond in a reasonable amount of time, I promise. However, going off topic can get your comment deleted or just get it ignored.
- No “me too” comments - Okay, me too comments are not allowed simply on the virtue that you probably aren’t reading the post when you post this kind of comment. Hell, you probably haven’t even read the response to comments. This is probably just to drop a link to your blog from a post here on my blog. So I would appreciate it if you kept the “me too” comments off my blog. If you do post it - I will probably remove the comment from the blog. This usually happens within 2 minutes-2 days so keep in mind that I am very swift about it. Okay?
- Read the entire post first - Also, if possible, read all the comments to ensure that your statement isn’t already addressed in the previous comments. Sometimes, people ask questions that are already answered in the previous comments or in the post itself. Don’t be judgemental or think that just because I am not a Christian - I am going to make a generally ill minded post about oh, let’s say Tomball Church of Christ. Sometimes, I have kind things to say about practitioners of a belief I do not possess. So please, read the entire post first before commenting.
I will do my best to avoid deleting comments, considering that I want to promote an open and equal discussion about my posts on my own blog. But if you violate these rules, I will have the right to remove the comments. I will try to e-mail you when I can explaining why I removed a comment and what rule it broke. Of course, we are going to have to say that if I failed to cover anything, just remember not to act like an ass.
