Attack of the delinquent client
My deliquent client, Peter Greer, is trying to fight the collection of his debt O.O;;. Why is it that every bum tries do to do something like that?

Because like all scumbags they have no shame. They figure they have nothing to lose by fighting every inch of the way in the hope that either you’ll get tired of chasing them or someone along the line they will get a break or have a ruling go their way that will at least allow them not to pay the full amount. I saw it all the time when I was in the loan business.
