The imposter v. Kyle of Alberta
There are numerous things wrong with this imposter site so I will begin with the most obvious.
- Look at the address bar. It reads http://www.freewebs.com/kyleofalaska/ . First off, I have not have my personal site hosted on anything but a domain for the past few years. Second, if you go to http://www.freewebs.com/ you’ll see that it’s not a site about me, that it is a…
- Free hosting service. I don’t use free hosting services and I don’t like them. I USED to use free hosting services but I don’t anymore. They are just to ad-ridden.
- Notice the title on the page and the title bar. When you go to a new page, the title bar doesn’t reflect that. Furthermore, it shows a lamer level of punctuation (or shall I say over punctuation) and grammar.
- What the hell is the Outer Sanctum and Warmwood?
- Bad graphics. Really, come on now.
- More bad grammar and not only that but Alaska doesn’t have a parliament.
Here are two identical MySpace profiles.
- Notice the URLs. Kyle Korleski is an aspiring Canadian and is very pro-Canadian. Why would there be an anti-Canadian URL in a myspace of Kyle Korleski?
- Kyle Korleski is an expert web developer and knows more about CSS than most people. Why is the first profile not taking advantage of all the MySpace CSS features.
- The profile image on the first was blurred. The second is crisp and true. Nuff said?
- The usertitle of the second profile is pro-Canadian and shows knowledge of Japanese culture. The first is very anti-Canadian. Now, why would I be anti-Canadian?
- A Canadian location is in the location field of the second. The first is an American location. Nuff said?

[...] You know, I want free discussion on my blog as well as free expression but, oh so sadly, we have to put up with lamers from sites like Kyle of Alaska or Greg Platano (see blog entries: Creepy convo with a spammer, IM attack #2 and the Imposter v. Kyle of Alberta). I tried contacting Freewebs about this little lamer, and here’s how it went down: [...]
