Death Threats on my Blog
Just recently, I got a death threat on my blog. This is the first time it’s happened on the blog but not the first on the Internet. And this one was more vile than the one I received from Chelsea’s friend, Rami a few days after we were supposed to meet. This one was an actual threat of violence that was unconditional. The trouble is that other bloggers have this problem as well. I am worried about this greatly and I feel that something should be done about this. My girlfriend has asked that I do not press charges against this person but I would like to know where this guy is so I can get an idea if I am within proximity to this hate monger.
The comment on the blog (in case you don’t want to visit the link I sent) reads like this:
Okay first off, you sir are sick.
She is 16.
You’ve never met her.
You cannot love someone you’ve NEVER met.
Fuck man you’re putting the pussy on a pedistol.
You’re going to be a virgin your whole life if you keep this up.I am going to hunt you down in my city and kick the living shit out of you.
I’m 18 man, I wont date anyone younger then 2 years then me.
And even then I wouldn’t date a 16 year old.
I’d rather date someone my age, who is MATURE and LEGAL.How can someone of the age of 16 understand love?
Let alone marriage.
I understand now you’re not getting married but still.
The chance you two are ever going to meet is slim.
And if you do, it’s not going to last and do you know why?Because you met each other ONLINE.
A person acts differently online.
All you’re doing is typing, and reading.
You’re not actually conversing with the person.With all this said I would like to add.
You are a known liar and a thief.
So it wouldn’t surprise me that you’ve already lied to this girl.
Once a liar always a liar.Have fun with this.

This guy has actually threatened my life twice in this comment. This is illegal and if my girlfriend didn’t have an issue with me filing a complaint with the police, I would definitely file a complaint with the police. This person cannot be allowed to run free and I would definitely file a complaint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and with the Calgary Police Service. But let’s evaluate this next point:

Even though I don’t approve of this - it does have a condition which I can and am more than willing to follow, given the fact that Chelsea started to ignore me for no reason and with no provocation what-so-ever. So basically, it all boils down to following the condition and I don’t get killed. Very simple condition to follow, eh? So there is no real threat here. This means that I am not going to file a police report over it.
