Welcome to my personal weblog. This is more or less my personal website and a place that stores all the rants that I can make. I’ve applied to the 9rules blog network twice (see my posts about 9rules Round 5.5 and 9rules Round 5) and so far, this site is not a 9rules member site yet. But I hold a great amount of faith that it will be one day. The content is becoming more and more diverse and more people are reading the blog every day. Read the stats and you’ll know all the information about my site’s growth. I am going to do what I can to ensure that this site goes places. And if you keep visiting every day - you’ll see noticeable changes. Either to the style, to the pages or just a new post that you may find interesting. Every day you’ll find something new and while the majority of it is a piece of tech advice or a rant about the newest asshole I’ve met, some of it - you’ll find VERY interesting.
This site has been hosted on several free web hosts and a couple of paid hosts. The two best web hosts I have ever used are MediaTemple and A Small Orange. If you are looking for web hosting, these people are the ones you should go with. A Small Orange has better support though, simply due to the fact it can take days to get help from MediaTemple’s support centre. But the two most reliable webhosts would have to be A Small Orange and MediaTemple and they both offer referral bonuses. If you have a more popular site, MediaTemple may float a bit of your funds to you each month or pay off your hosting bill in exchange for MediaTemple logo placement. I would recommend staying clear of web hosting companies like 1&1 and GoDaddy.
It is powered by WordPress and a modified version of Dean J. Robinson’s Redoable theme. Every day - I do something a little different to the theme or to the blog. But Redoable is the base of it all. I call it Redoable Blackthorne and no - you cannot use it for your own blog. Blackthorne is the name of a certain step of guidelines of style and colour. And of course, it governs a lot of my personal dark themes.
