I want Idolm@ster

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

I never thought I’d say this again but I want a console game. Congratulations universe, you win. Oh, but it’s not just a console game. It’s a cute japanese dating sim called The Idolm@ster and it’s available only on the Xbox 360. It gets worse, because it’s not only available solely for the Xbox 360, but in addition, it’s locked to the NTSC/J (Japan) region. This means, I’d have to buy a Japanese Xbox 360 to play it. So, in order to play it, I’d have to spend around $380 USD, and that does not even include the duties I would have to pay to Canadian Customs nor does it include the duties I would have to pay to the US customs in the event that I have to be sent back to the United States. Day of unemployment

Sunday, April 2nd, 2006

Before you get started, yes I am looking for a job. This is one of THOSE times when sending a little bit of cash via PayPal helps boost morale.

Unemployment IS a problem for me. A big problem. I’ve got 2 creditors that want my blood and I have only $2 CAD to my name. If you want me to do a vBulletin design for you, I’ll do it for $100-$400 depending on how complex you want it.

P.S. The new design for the site is coming along nicely. I also added new categories to the WordPress and all that good stuff. I hope to get the latest version of my site out in about a couple of weeks.

A few things I found out

Saturday, January 28th, 2006

There are two important facts I stumbled upon recently that I feel you should be made aware of. First is that starting January 29th, the Chinese New Year kicks into full gear. 2005 was the year of the Rooster and 2006 is the year of… drum roll please… the Dog! w00f!. And it’s actually the year 4703 in China, not 2006, so apparently they had a head start. The second fact I stumbled upon is that it’s Superbowl Sunday next weekend. I have created a list of three things you should do instead of watching the Superbowl,

1) Watch bittorrented episodes of Bleach
2) Host a LAN Party
3) Buy a TV-B-Gone from ThinkGeek and visit your local Sports Bar… *click*
