My expectations in 10 years
There is a lot that I wish to accomplish in 10 years and I have decided to write it all up. It took a couple of minutes to summarize it all but I have listed a couple of my more imperative goals below:
- Become a citizen of a country that respects human rights - I left the United States because it was not a nation that wanted to respect the rights of others in the world and the sovereignty of other nations.
- Find my soulmate - I am certain this is a common goal but for me, it holds high importance if not the highest importance.
- Get a job where I get to go to Akihabara more than 3 times a year - Going to Akihabara is FUN! I love it every time and I would love to
- Improve my Japanese - I may be able to speak the Osakan and Okinawan dialects but I need to start practising Traditional Japanese and possibly writing kanji. But then again, my writing in kanji is very indicative of my writing abilities in the Roman alphabet. This is why I use Romanji when I can.
- Learn another language - I speak English, I know a little Spanish, a little French and a couple of Japanese dialects. Since I am likely going to Ireland, I will probably place higher importance on learning the Irish language next.
- Make Night Shaded more than just a one man operation - I hear that it’s difficult to start an EU company if you are not an EU national. This may make things a bit harder, especially since the path to Irish nationality is work permit directly to naturalization.
- Travel a bit more - I am probably not going to travel to the United States, especially considering I am now on the American No-Fly list. However, with EU nationality, I hope to hit up a lot of countries in Europe and travel Asia. Maybe come back to Canada for their anime conventions.
