Haven’t blogged in a longer while
Yeah, I know, shut it. Here’s the scoop as I have seen it:
It’s Wednesday afternoon, I am hurreidly packing all my crap to be shipped to Canada. I have been working hard to document every single thing but most of it was just application CDs, DVDs and data backs. Basically, nothing that would be considered a danger to Canadian society nor the environment. Basically, I had to think of creative ways to pack up all my DVDs, anime, manga, magazines and books. I originally worried on how to pay for it but as soon as I got my father to pay for the shipping, I guess that solved that little problem, eh? Basically, this is the original way I packed all my stuff but I decided later on to pad all my books/dvds/etc. with clothing so that it wouldn’t be as beat up in transit. Also given the quality of the boxes I had, there wasn’t much option either.
Thursday, I am at the airport and a lot of things happen that kind of make me happy/sad/afraid that the other passengers will give me the bum’s rush once we get off the plane. I hate how the only resturant (well, the only open resturant) in the airport is McDonalds. (McDonalds resturants in the states are nasty as hell) I decided it would be best if I were to wear a suit for when I meet up with the CBSA agents at the border so they will (hopefully) see me as a highly qualified young professional that should be granted entry into Canada. Okay, so that’s not how it goes but it’s a good start and it does leave a good impression. I am kinda ticked that I cannot bring my deodorant/shampoo/personal shaver but oh well. I guess it’s probably for the best that I put more money into the Canadian economy because the United States economy sucks (very likely due to the fact that the United States sucks).
Okay, we are supposed to have taken off a little while ago but there was a… minour complication with the emergency exit.
