You do realize that what you’ve said to do to me is a threat? It is a threat against my life and vitality. Furthermore, from your host name, I’ve gathered that you live in Calgary, which represents a very serious threat. I have already sent the information to your Internet Service Provider, Shaw. With any luck - we can get a police report filed and see you behind bars. You should not threaten people’s lives, sir. I am 19 years old and would not date anyone more than 3 years younger than me. And just because she is 16, does not mean that she is not mature. And just because it is not legal in Canada, does not make it illegal elsewhere. Furthermore, age of consent rules were designed to protect children against real paedophiles.

When I initially contacted her, I believed she was 19. I learned a few days later that she was, in actuality, 16 years old. I initially freaked, considering the fact that I thought that it would be illegal over there for us to date/be engaged as well. But I did my research. I checked the facts. The facts stated that it was in fact, legal. And seeing as I’ve already formed a deep connection with this girl, I want to continue and see where it goes. It’s only 3 years, I am not some paedophile 40 year old that has the hots for a 10 year old. It’s a 3 year difference.

I know that we met online. But to say that a person acts differently online is a judgement of all people, of humanity. I am the same person offline as I am online. I am dedicated to the values of truth and morality. I will uphold the 5 moral precepts of Buddhism. Becca knows how I feel about her and sometimes, it can be hard to convey those words in person - because you might fear rejection. But fortunately, she agreed to be my girlfriend. I will love her and that is a promise that you can hold me to.

I am not a liar nor a thief. If I am - what have I stolen? What have I said that was untrue? And to whom am I a known liar and thief? What do you base your libellous statements on? I have not lied to this girl and I would not do so. And to say that people cannot change is a harsh judgement against humanity. People CAN change. I had a bad past - I have lied and stolen before. I admit it. But I have changed. I have become more truthful. I have never stolen anything again. This is because I know how much it hurts to have no one believe what you say. I know how much it hurts when people guard their stuff when you walk by because they believe you are a thief. I have made an effort to correct my actions. And my efforts have rewarded me by bringing me more faithful clients, a brighter future and most of all, Becca.

Laren, you can believe what you want but the fact of the matter is that I am seriously engaged. You can take the truth or you can leave it. But it can’t change the facts. I agree that the archives of a blog can be useful. And I agree to posting AND truthfully meaning all of those things. However, you must understand a few things. (And by that way, that video you posted to is sick)

1. Becca is the second person who really loved me and the first to promise to do so on a long term basis.
2. I was stood up on my first date.
3. If you were a young man living in Calgary, you’d agree with me. And several have. In fact, I am probably go out into the city on my last days and compile research on how hard it is to actually find a good woman in Calgary.
4. Laren, you make that sound like it’s a bad thing. I am 19 years old. She is 16. There is a 3 year time difference. Just 3 years! You make it sound as if the time difference is much longer.
