I want to thank everyone for checking the blog. I really do appreciate everyone’s support. And I am happy that people are reading the blog, I’m happy that people are reading my new blog, Dorkly Cute. I’m also happy that everything is going so well. Everything is turning out to be well and I am working to make it so that everyone can be happy. And this is not just about the blog, but about my offline life as well. But I am going to explain what has happened in the last week so I can give everyone reading a little clarity on the future of this blog and of my life. So, I feel this is a very important article to be read if you pay attention to this blog. (more…)

My first book that I am writing, Conned by Christians, will be available for free as an electronic version or as a physical book (which I will probably make a $1 or $2 profit off of it). Just so you know, I will be distributing it on kylekorleski.com and thedarkestevil.com. I feel that the message that it contains is to important to limit to those who can pay for the book. It’s important to know about the problems in Bible Colleges and how Christians are ultimately the biggest threat to Christianity. So, if you are looking at an in-depth examination of why the attendance rates for church are at an all time low or if you are considering a Bible College, I highly request that you download and read the book once it is available. And if you have friends in the faith that are considering bible college, this book could be the best gift you can give them.

So, basically I have a goal with this blog and that is to improve my writing skills. You know from reading this that I use terms such as basically and essentially too much. And not only that but with my site’s page rank rising up to 4 and some of my subpages reaching page ranks of 3 and 2, I am very proud that my blog is finally gaining recognition and readership. Plus, my FeedBurner readership more than doubled from 14 to the upper 30s. I feel proud that more and more people are reading my personal weblog and commenting on what I write. But one thing is still lacking and that would be my writing skills. (more…)

In my writing, there are a couple of differences between in my writing style versus my blogging style. And you will know more about that once you see the book I am writing. I plan to keep hush about the project and I hope that everyone who reads my book will become pleasantly surprised. But I know that some people will read this blog and go “Kyle, if you can barely write a blog - how can you POSSIBLY write a book? It has to be longer than all the posts of your blog combined in order to be considered a book rather than a pamphlet.” And the thing is I agree with them, because I know I have two different literary styles. So, a couple of days ago, I was suffering from a major case of writer’s block. It happens. Sometimes, I get a lot of ideas for subjects and I start them out and save them as drafts or what not in WordPress. You’ve probably noticed this if you pay attention to the URL numbering in my blog in comparison to my blog’s content. It’s because I don’t want to lose those ideas simply due to the fact that it is highly unlikely that they will ever come back to me. Seriously. (more…)

I am working on a new film and yes, I am going to be working with some friends of mine to help make it. While I am still looking for a publisher for the book, I have decided to produce the film with Brave New Films, considering their films about bigger evils like Wal-Mart and Fox News. I am going to try to talk with the people at Chapters and at FMV to stock the books and DVDs (respectively), considering that this is a HUGE threat in Canada and abroad. (more…)

Yes, I want to write a book. I have wanted to be an author for several years but when I got into computers, my aspirations to be an author kinda fizzled out. In fact, I became for focused on the visual arts and my aspirations in the literary arts fell to the way side. I am sure you can understand, seeing as when we focus our energies on a trade, we abandon some of our broken dreams. It has happened to all of us, be it at the age of 11 of whenever that has happened in our life. It was also a dream of mine to relocate to California from Texas and it has been that way until I was 17, going on 18. Then I realized that California had two vital flaws. First, the rent on Californian apartments are too expensive for those with no real world experience. The prices for Californian apartments are within the 4 digit amount. In fact, here are the apartment listings from SF Bay Craigslist.
Blogging has rekindled that part of me. I love reading and I most certainly love writing. In fact, I am working on a couple of books and I seriously want to get them published. However, I am confronted with a couple of concerns, seeing as I would love to do this a certain way. I want my publisher and representation to be located OUTSIDE of the United States. However, I know that the bigger publishers and imprints are located in the United States. So, I will have to bite my tongue on this. (more…)

Okay, so I got burned by another girl. Yeah, this was NOT cool. But the cool thing was that she was a little less rotten than other girls that I have talked to online. I am just so tired of this and I would just like to find someone that I can hold and embrace. Someone that I can walk life’s path with. Someone that will accept and appreciate me for everything that I am. Someone that will love me with an agape love that I will love them with. You see, I have never been loved by another human being. Not my family, no girlfriends and no reliable friends in this world. I am not very popular because I refuse to conform to other people’s standards.
I am not in the mood to talk to many people. And if you do wish to talk to me, you had better be able to withstand many minutes, if not hours, of ranting about how hard it is to find someone of the opposite sex that will love you. About how everyone with a loving family or close, reliable friends is blessed. I am not in a mood to pretend to be happy. Forgive me if I refuse to respond to your private messages or what not, I would not be in a good mood anyways. I am also writing a whole number of posts for four days (8 posts) so I don’t have to respond to comments. It’s evil, I know, but I am not in the mood to play comment police.
To my faithful clients: You will receive everything you ordered. Plus, I will remember this when you want another project so you will very likely save money on your next project. However, when life continuously shits on you, it does not allow you to focus on your work. It’s only two days more in many cases and I apologise for the additional time required. I just need time to centre myself.

Before I go to sleep tonight in an attempt to reprogramme my biological clock, I want to let you know that I don’t just get my inspiration from other people for this blog. A lot of my inspiration comes from random events that happen to me on a daily basis. I am going to tell you the story of how I got completely lost trying to turn some cans and bottles in to the recycling centre in Crowfoot. You see, I needed $2.25 for the bus fare and I needed it before tomorrow because tomorrow is the day that Mrs. Dypvik-Galts cuts the cheques for students that still have a balance on their accounts.
The road to Crowfoot was not too long and certainly not arduous. In fact, the Ranchlands are not too far from the Crowfoot Crossing. I walked there, prepared my bottles for recycling and then did that and got about $2.55 for my empty bottles. W00t! But the road back was arduous, because I went the wrong way to get back. At first, I thought that I was going the right way and I thought I recognized some of the houses. But when I saw the sign that said “Citadel”, I knew there was a problem. There was an Esso gas station so I walked in and asked for directions back to the Ranchlands. He told me to go down Nose Hill road and it’ll run into John Laurie Blvd. Of course, I know that John Laurie Blvd. crosses with Ranchlands Blvd. and thus, will get me home.
So I trudged along Nose Hill road until I got to Sarcee Trail. I was getting tired and thirsty. I was wanting a nice cool glass of water to drink so I could replenish my resources. I came across an old man and I asked him for some help. He said that I can take a shortcut by going down Sarcee Trail. The hitch is that there are no sidewalks. I thought that this would not be a problem so I took it. Boy was I wrong! I kept stumbling and I nearly fell flat on my face. However, I noticed that if I climbed to the top of the slope, I would have a much easier trip to John Laurie. So I made the climb up and for a time I was right. However, there were a couple of patches of soft ground that almost made me fall off the slope and into incoming traffic. (more…)

Okay, so I was going through my Akismet spam, checking for false positives (yeah, I do that) and I found an anonymous comment from someone with the e-mail address jane@aol.com. It was on my post about when I was canned at Valero so that the managers could save their own asses. Apparently, this woman decided to accuse of actually taking the food and stated that I should “own up to my own crime”. WTF?
I did nothing wrong and this woman decides to blatantly accuse me for something that isn’t even true. The managers fired me because they were missing $3000 US in inventory and they had to pin it on someone. The rest of the story should be self-explanatory. This happens more often than you’d think in the states but that is because more and more employers are turning to “at-will” employment rather than contract employment.
Anyways, what I want to communicate is that while I do allow for open dialog in this blog, I should be able to contact you to try to explain the situation if you decide to leave comments like this. Or at least a link to your own blog so I can find out how to contact you and give you feedback on what you said.
