The day before yesterday, I got in touch with a good friend of mine from High School. For privacy’s sake, I’ll keep her name private. In fact, we’ve considered going out together. But when I told her that I’m a Buddhist now - she told me not to tell her family because they might not like that. I’m more than willing to abide by this condition considering that I knew her sister and she was a member of Fellowship of Christian Students. But unfortunately, I could not abide by it for long. I’m sorry that I had to go into a hiatus. I needed to take a little break so I could be 100% sure to avoid saying something bad and untrue about Becca. Truth be told, she’s a wonderful woman and any man would be happy to have her. But, the distance between us was just too great and she couldn’t take it anymore. I can understand and respect her for that, but that doesn’t mean I’m too happy about this. But I am going to try to avoid online dating and even if that is so, I am only going to date people in my locality. This way, I can avoid a lot of heartbreak. (more…)

I’m not going to sugarcoat the truth or lie about things. The people who read my blog day in and day out know that I am not one to lie or falsify reality. But recently, Becca had made the decision to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. I wish her well in all that she does and I’m just happy that she treated me with the respect and dignity I deserve. She didn’t lie to me or deceive me like Miranda did. Or like Chelsea did. But I am not happy about the situation at all. In fact, I am quite unhappy because I had high hopes for this relationship. (more…)

Macrabbit just recently released CSSEdit 2.5 to the general public. Now, CSSEdit is one of my favourite power toys (tomorrow, I’ll discuss power toys for the Mac) for the Mac and it gives me the power to do so much with my current style sheets. It has a beautiful way to validate style sheets with W3C standards. And of course, it still has the smexy features it always had such as Milestones, Live Preview and Xray. And this has not been replicated in applications like Panic’s Coda (which costs a US$69 if you own a Transmit licence). Also, Macrabbit added a beautiful new welcome page for CSSEdit 2.5 (compared to the one that Macrabbit made for CSSEdit 2.0).

You know, for the past few days, I’ve been craving a dozen of my favourite doughnuts from my favourite doughnut place: Shipleys. They were my favourite considering the fact that every other doughnut shop does a piss poor job at making vanilla cream filled doughnuts. The problem? While I was in Canada, they must have either moved or closed down because their storefront is closed. So that just means the closest eatery to me is closed. I know where the nearest Shipley’s is but I know that it really isn’t within walking distance. (more…)

As you can see from subscribing to my feed, I do not provide a full feed of content from my blog. And I haven’t been doing so since the start of my blog (as far as I can recall). I am a blogger and I would like more people to read my blog because, let’s face it - I love it when people read my shit, er, informative articles. . (more…)

I wanted to make sure that I made a post today, considering what today is and all. After all, it only comes once a year. So prepare to read my first tribute to this glorious 4/20. What am I talking about? For those who don’t know - 4/20 or 4:20 refers to marijuana. It is widely accepted that in 1971, a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, calling themselves “The Waldos”, used to meet every day after school at 4:20 PM. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue. To this day, many pot smokers continue to observe 4:20 as a time to smoke communally. By extension April 20 has evolved into a quasi-holiday, where people gather to celebrate and smoke pot. (more…)

To be with Becca is a very important thing to me. To be able to hold her in my arms and tell her how much I love her. And soon, I’ll be able to do so since I will be moving to the United Kingdom. And I plan to spend as much time as I can with her. But some people wonder why I love her when I haven’t actually met her face to face and how I can have such faith in being with her. Well, I have a couple of reasons. (more…)

Right now, I just can’t think of anything to write. And I mean for the blog and for the books. I have writer’s block and I can’t seem to put down any words. I wish I could but unfortunately, I can’t. I’m just temporarily suffering from writer’s block. Just thought I’d share that. -_-

Well, due to recent circumstances (mostly housing), I have decided to leave the United States within 1 month. So - I have to raise $3,500 to procure airfare, housing and a 1 month visa in the United Kingdom. I am going to get the 1 month visa when I enter, work for my registered company in the United States (technically, I would not be working for a company in the United Kingdom), receive royalties from said company and do all that I can to raise enough money so I can re-enter the United Kingdom when I leave and fly back in. Is this legal? Yes. And it’s my best course of action to be with Becca and gain time toward my British naturalization.
